Our loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle went home to be with his Lord and to be reunited with his beautiful wife Kay on Tuesday May 1, 2012.  Age 81 years.  Donald Philip Prezzato was born July 24, 1930 in Saginaw to the late Philip and Dorothy (Jones) Prezzato.  He attended Assumption H. S. College in Windsor, Canada and graduated in 1949.  He married Kay Beverly Fox August 11, 1951.  They had many adventures together before her death July 2, 1990.  Don worked at Prezzato Grocery before being hired at Grey Iron Foundry.  He worked for General Motors for nearly 35 years before retiring as a supervisor.  Don's personality made him easy to befriend and his sense of humor was his trademark.  He could have been an Olympic boxer, but he was an American living in Canada.  Don was a wonderful singer and painter and loved to play poker and bingo.  He also enjoyed going to the casinos.
Surviving are his son Philip Prezzato; two daughters, Lynn Prezzato and Pam (David) Lovay; two grandsons; Chad Prezzato and Joshua (Laurie) Prezzato; great grandchildren, Krysta, Jacob, and Logan Prezzato, and Gavin Czymbor; his brother Richard (Janice) Prezzato; two sisters-in-law, Kathleen (Alan) Sieferlein and Lauren Hoffman; other special people, Shedel Davidson, Shane Boynton, Dellisha Davidson, and Justin Ziolkowski; special friend Theresa Gillette, and all his friends at Wescourt.
